Peace of Mind.....

This is Saige on her way out the door this morning to the Babysitter's. We are very lucky that Saige loves her sitter and is so comfortable there. Someday's it breaks my heart because she isn't ready to leave when I pick her up ): but rather than let it bother me I try to focus on how grateful I should be that she loves it there!! A great sitter is a blessing to a parent !

Has it been awhile or what?!?1

So, I've totally slacked on this blog, however we have been a busy family this summer/fall. Kaylee's birthday went well. She's the BIG 6 now and has started 1st grade. She loves it and has quite the social circle going on. She's wrapping up her 4th soccer season this month and I believe we have chosen to re-start gymnastics now. Saige's 1st birthday was cute and she's on the move at all times now. She's getting so big so fast! She weighs approx 28lbs now but still only has 2 teeth!! Halloween is just around the corner and Kaylee has decided on a Bumble Bee tutu costume. Saige is going to be a super cute Peacock, I will try to post pictures shortly after. I have recently accepted a position as an OBGYN/Maternity Nurse and start next week!! I'm very excited to follow this path in my career and hope to plant my roots in the department. I will sadly miss the Med-Surg field but feel I'm ready to move on. Starting over is always a hard decision and I'm sure it will take some getting used to. It's totally out of my element at this point but I love to learn new things and soak up all the knowledge I can get!!

Hopefully switching to 12hr shifts will allow me more time to spend at home with the girls and slightly less stress!! We'll see, I'll try to update again soon!

Just a few pictures from the weekend. We have always loved taking Kaylee to throw rocks after eating at the Loop and now Saige is joining in the fun! She'd still rather lick the rocks ( YUCK )than throw them but it's still a good time! She actually surprised us and was lifting pretty big rocks! My favorite part is stopping @ Bev's afterwards for Ice Cream (:

Good Morning!!

Well, Easter wasn't a huge thrill but I think Kaylee enjoyed it just the same. As for Saige it was just another day. I had to work of course ~ every holiday or special occasion seems to fall on my weekend to work ): It wasn't too bad though, Kaylee was up before I left and got her Basket. We read the Bunny's note and talked about finding eggs when I got home. She went to her Mema's for a couple of hours too, which kept her occupied and gave Scott time to hide all the egss in the yard. I was home around 3 and boy was it a cold egg hunt!! She had 18 eggs to find and by egg # 5 I was starting to make obvious hints!! LoL (: Later we ditched the traditional dinner and went to the Loop...tasted great & I didn't have to do a thing. Next year I'll be off and we'll have the whole sha-bang. The girls made out like bandits of course...candy, toys, money, movies...

8 months already?!

Wow time is moving so quickly! I wish I could stop the clock and just enjoy the moment for a little longer. Saige is now 8 months old - hard to believe her 1st birthday is around the corner. Kaylee will be 6yrs old just 4 days before Saige turns one. Above are a few pictures of Saige on her 8th month anniversary! LoL....some people say I'm picture crazy, but it's the best way for me to hold onto these memories and I don't want to miss a single one!
